Nineteen

Micah managed to get himself into his Bumbo seat, with the tray on it,all by himself. He was so pleased by his accomplishment.

Getting out of the seat was quite another story.

If all else fails, adapt to having something attached to your bum.

Yes, that's my Christmas tree still up in the background. Don't judge me.

Eighteen

Lemon Lime Lego Love.
I saw a couple of Laural's Legos laying on the floor (where else?) and they looked a little like a heart the way they wereplaced, so I decided to take this pic of them.

Seventeen

My two little rascals, sitting in Grandpa's chair Sunday morning after spending the night at my parent's so Steve and I could see Rob's band play. Yes, my son is wearing pink pajamas that once belonged to his big sister. Don't judge me.

Sixteen

My niece, Amanda, at her 17th birthday party. It is amazing at how fast time seems to fly by. It doesn't seem so long ago that she was just a wee one toddling around my house.

My very pregnant, and very ready to be done being pregnant, sister-in-law. She still has a few more weeks to go though.

Fifteen

Fun food for dinner! I saw something on the Epicute Food blog like this so I decided to make our own little chickens for dinner.  The chickens are made from, what else, chicken nuggets with carrot combs and cheese beaks. The eyes are just black food gel. The ground on which the chickens stand is mixed veggies and there are peanut butter - celery logs on either side just waiting for Laural to place the "ants" on them. Crowning the scene is an arch of green pepper stars. Both kids loved their cute dinners!

Fourteen

Steve, throwing snowballs at the monster icicles hanging off the house that have been building for days and days now. He was somewhat successful. There seems to be fire coming out of his bum though.

Thirteen

Melyanna wanted some love and my arm was tired from petting her, so I grabbed my back scratcher and held it down for her. She continued to rub against it forquite some time. Here, she is really getting into it.

Twelve

There are some rubber bugs and critters in the basement classroom of the church where we have Story Time. Laural thought it was pretty funny last week when she put the giant fly inside the frog. I thought so too, so this week, I took a pic of it.

After the fly, the frog went after the kids' heads.

Eleven

One of our Muffin Tin Monday meals. Laural loves having her meals in a muffin tin. There is just something about an out of the ordinary dish that makes eating more fun (and more complete as it turns out, since she almost always eats everything in the tin each week)!

Ten

My mom, the last day on her torture machine after her knee replacement surgery. She wasn't actually in pain. She was making a face while sitting up but it sure looked like the machine was kicking her butt!

Nine

The view outside my bathroom window. Not only are there awesome icicles, but the wintry scene of the swamp and industries behind it looks pretty neat too.

A lovely cardinal visiting our yard for a little while.

Seven

Today's photo is a quick snapshot of the very cute vampire bat that I sewed today for a friend. It turned out so cute, I plan to make a couple for Laural and Micah.

Six

My stack of coupons this week, right after I finished clipping them all, ready to be sorted and put into the binder. I usually buy 10 to 12 newspapers each Sunday for the coupons.

Five

Peanut butter faced, pre-haircut, little boy being watched by curious George. A couple hours later, he got his 1st haircut.

Four

Micah decided that rather than eat his hot dogs, he much preferred to put them on his fingers and tap them together.

Three

Church was canceled today so we decided to build a seven foot tall tower of Mega Bloks in the living room. This is a view from the top. I had to stand n the couch to get this pic. I didn't realize that Laural was trying to get attention by putting the Mega Bloks bag on her head until after the pic was taken. At least it has holes in it. This child is going to give me a heart attack one day.

My lovely, little Laural posing in front of our Christmas tree.
